Trauma
Trauma refers to the emotional and psychological response that occurs when an individual experiences a distressing or life-threatening event or series of events. Trauma can have profound and lasting effects on a person's mental and emotional well-being, leading to symptoms such as flashbacks, nightmares, anxiety, and a heightened state of alertness. One of the condition linked with these symptoms is Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

Relationship Issues
Therapy can be immensely beneficial in addressing and resolving relationship issues. Therapy provides a safe and neutral environment where individuals can openly communicate, express their feelings, and work through conflicts constructively. They help identify unhealthy patterns of behaviour, improve communication skills, and foster empathy and understanding between people.
Behavioural Issues & ADHD
Behavioural issues, whether in children or adolescents can be effectively addressed through therapy. Therapists use evidence-based approaches to understand the underlying causes of problematic behaviours.
Individuals with ADHD often experience challenges with focus, impulsivity, and hyperactivity that can impact various aspects of their lives, including work, school, and relationships. Therapy and skills training can help individuals develop strategies to better control their symptoms, improve time management, enhance organizational skills, and cope with the emotional aspects of living with ADHD.
Modalities Used in Therapy
Our psychologist uses evidence-based therapy such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Eyes Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR).
